A correction to the game has been posted. It affects the french version only.
This bugfix corrects an error in PEGANA, where ELKAMUR doesn't answer when he is showed some items.
The bug only exists in the french version!
This bugfix will be included in Dragonflight V1.2 for Steem.
Download Dragonflight Bugfix and replace the faulty file in the FRA_DATA directory.

A new screen for the 16x16 challenge is done. This time it is coded by Phantom, who was previously a guest-coder for V-Max.
Once again the demo doesn't follow the rules established by Leonard. The demo displayed 250 masked sprites. It is more likely a 'wink' to the contest, altough it runs fine on any ST/STE (with at least 512 KB of memory). Also Phantom works at the moment on a rules compliant screen. This new one may be finished next week.

A new version of Thalion game DragonFlight is available. According to Udo Fischer, here are the modifications:
- removed a copy protection check which was left in the emulator version unintentionally...
this led to the 'Game-over' sequence when entering 'King Halfton'.
- added the 'Wordlist' with all the words which might be asked as 'extra adventure'. It's directly a part of the source code but I think you will find the appropriate words...
Download DragonFlight v1.1 and feel free to visit Thalion Webshrine.

Aktiv8 FTP compilations were done back in the year 1998. Dunno how far they were spread (I had never seen them). Aktiv8 is just coming to post them, and has corrected some bugs. The disks don't contain rare stuffs, but they are themselve rare & nicely made so we mention them here.
Aktiv8 disk #1 contains:
- Maniac Mansion
- Jet Set Willy
- Robocop
Aktiv9 disk #2 contains:
- Super Starioland
- Stario's Christmas
- Michigan Mike & the lost city of Zorog
Download Aktiv8 menu #1 and menu #2.

ljbk (aka Paulo Simoes) has posted yesterday three new (un)limited screens. This time the demos display 1000, 1500 and 2000 sprites on 512 KB machines or more. Also ljbk writes that he is able to display 2900 sprites on 512 KB and almost 7000 sprites on 1 MB machines! Unfortunately he doesn't want to release this demos because the screen looks more and more as an unlimited sprites screen because you don't see the clearing effect. Anyway the new 2000 sprites is a very good demo! It's probably a new record although it can't contest with Leonard'one.
Get the new limited screens now.
I remember getting this classic for Christmas ages back, probably in -92 or -93. Back then, the manual felt enormously thick and the map gigantic. Now when I look at it, the manual feels like a quick install note and the map more like a pamphlet, time flies…

Read the review of Hard NovaThe name "Atari" comes from a move in the ancient game of Go, a favorite of founder Nolan Bushnell.
