Compare games with other versions

December 12, 2004 by ST Graveyard

News illustration image Hello all,

After the super release of the Jukebox today, we have another big surprice for you all.

Every ST fan remembers the great wars with the Commodore Amiga, back in the good ol' days. Well our new update is a big wink to those golden years. With the help of Kim Lemon from Lemon64 and Lemon Amiga, it is now possible to compare the ST version with their Amiga and/or Commodore 64 counterpart. Not all games are linked yet, but we'll be updating this weekly. At the moment 650+ games have a compare link. Just go to the game detail pages to find the "vs" links, if they are available.

Enjoy this great feature and ... Stay Atari!

AL Jukebox

December 12, 2004 by Silver Surfer

News illustration image perihelion has been working hard together with the Atarilegend team to realize the year old dream of an AL jukebox. We shamelessly stole the graphical interface of Grazey's awesome UMD8730 muzak demo and therefor it looks quite good. (Big thanks to Grazey - Download his fantastic UMD8730 now) Click the link on the left saying ”Jukebox” and take it for a test spin. You will find cirka 530 game music files in there today, hopefully that amount will increase over time. If you have music files to submit please get in touch with us and we will try and put them online.

And don't worry, the soundfiles will also become available from the games detail pages at one point in time!

Random review

I remember many a night on my ZX Spectrum playing Cybernoid and its sequel for hours on end. It was a hard and frustrating experience as you had to be pixel perfect to get past screen after screen. It seemed very closed in and one wrong move resulted in you dying over and over.
