The Panic demo - that was released some weeks ago - is just coming to be updated by Paulo Simoes. There were some troubles with Steem and real hardware. This new version corrects the bugs since the author has changed one byte to have the top border timer controled removal to occur 28 CPU cycles earlier. So the troubles with the borders have vanished, and the demo works fine now. Whenever you encounter problems, feel free to report any bug on the forum.

After the new preview of Poong, Cerebral Vortex is just coming to update fully his website. It features a very cool new design! Poong fans will probably notice a short video is also available, too. This one was recorded by Xerus using his own background for the game.
Also remember the new name of the crew is Cerebral Vortex Software Development, since they decided recently to care about games and softwares only (no more demos? really?).
So feel free to visit the new site of CVSD now!

The game Poong for Falcon developed by Cerebral Vortex has been recently updated. The current version doesn't display the ball (game is still not finished), but it looks very good. Also as mentioned by GT Turbo, the background can be changed by replacing the BACK.TRP file (Escape Paint). Please note the final version will support 8 players!
New version of Poong can be found by clicking here.

The Byte (member of BSW and TCE) has published last week more compilations of demos and samples. New BSW DCD #130 and BSW Sample Collection #9 are currently available on his webpage. Please note BSW DCD #130 is a special xmas compilation.
Also The Byte has released a new slideshow demo. Mangamania 2004 features 39 pictures displayed while a nice module is playing. Good work! Not for kids of course

Hello all,
After the release of the game Wiliness 3 a week ago, Laurent was kind enough to answer some questions. Read the exciting interview, with info on the next game he'll be releasing, here.
Leave your comments at the forum. Also keep in mind that both Bold and Wiliness 3 are available for download at this site!
Special thanks to Laurent Kermel for making this possible!
Enjoy

Hello everybody,
Well, last week my computer completely crashed and I had to reinstall everything from scratch. The other Legend members are all on holiday, and that's why our Christmas gift got delayed. But here it finally is. The great Laurent Kermel (Creator of Bold), released a new game Wiliness 3. The game is not finished, and the author isn't planning to complete it. But he released it anyway, after some tweaking. The first 5 levels of the game are playable, which are guaranteed for hours of fun. Wiliness 3 is a true RPG game in the vein of the classic Dungeon Master. For more info on how to install it, I suggest you visit Laurent's website. And you can download the game at our Wiliness 3 page as well.
Have fun, and please post your comments in the appropriate Atari-Forum thread.
Expect an interview with the creator real soon!
They're called "Reservoir Gods" and they just released this little stunner "Superfly". And this shows that a game doesn't need to be complex to be good. Just think of games like "Tetris" or "Pacman". "Superfly" is so simple, yet very addictive.

Read the review of SuperflyDid you know that there are some love messages in the TOS ROMs of the ST? In fact you can find the strings "Dave StaUgas loves Bea Hablig" and "JIM LOVES JENEANE" in all TOS ROMs with version number 1.xx and 2.0x!
