Thomas Ilg, the author of Anarcho Ride and Laserball 2015, is working on a new game. Frogs is an adaptation of a C64 title: after reading the title, if you said it's a new conversion of the famous game Frogger... that's not really the case.
If you want to discover the goal of the game, Thomas has published a full video on YouTube. This adaptation is STE enhanced and it looks very cool and fun. Can't wait to play it!
The game is not yet available, but we'll spread more information about this release as soon as possible. Don't also miss the interview we released some weeks ago with Thomas if you want to learn more about his previous games.

It is with a lot of pride I like to present the following interview. Atari legend Oskar Burman was the creator of the very first FPS game for the Atari STe, Substation. These days, Oskar is CEO of his own VR games development company Fast Travel Games and their first release Apex Construct is available to the public since a few months. At HaxoGreen 2018 in Luxembourg, Gunstick/ULM released an updated version of his talk on all things chip-sound.
HaxoGreen is an international, 4-day open-air event in Luxembourg for people interested in technology or art. It provides a small but relaxed atmosphere for free exchange of technical, social, and political ideas.
At this event, Gunstick/ULM gave an updated version of his guide to the evolution of soundchip music on the Atari ST. It's a blow-by-blow walkthough of all things YM-2149: from the early days through to the modern era of music-making on our machines.

I was really excited last month when Orion_, out of nowhere, posted a thread on Atari-Forum announcing his new game would be available for the STe soon. Escape 2042 wasn't coded for the STe specifically. Although the game is created in assembler and it makes use of the enhancements of the machine, it is actually already over 1 year old. It was first released in 2017 for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis, Nintendo Gameboy and the Atari Jaguar. So saying Orion_ is a great coder, seems like an understatement. This guy knows his hardware, that is for sure.
